Social Models of Health

There are three fundamental forms of health for a person; physical, mental and social. Physical and mental health depict how an individual’s various systems are running, however, the lesser known social health is often the key factor or ‘glue’ that holds all the components of wellbeing together. Water Wellbeing offers a number of schemes and initiatives that can make a real difference to individuals and communities.

Reducing social isolation can assist in improving all forms of health.

Self Management Programmes

The range of self management tools offered on our programmes and courses develop the skills to become confident self managers in living with long term health conditions.

Providing services that involve people in their own care and recognising an individual’s knowledge in their condition is vital and is at the heart of government quality initiatives.

We track everything at Water Wellbeing. We use the latest technology to make feedback and tracking a simple and effective process, anonymously following delegates from start to finish.

Emotional Wellbeing

Supportive group programmes specifically devised to encourage increased emotional resilience, enhanced self confidence and self esteem.

Particularly valuable for those with anxiety, stress, mild to moderate depression, sleeplessness, social isolation, poor self esteem and low confidence.
